"The collection of J. chinensis from the innermost hills of Himalaya extends the geographical distribution of the species in South Asia. The habitat of the species is excessively exposed to disturbance due to various biotic factors like excessive extraction of firewood and grazing. In view of high intensity of disturbance to its natural habitat, the species might get extinct in near future from wild in Himalaya, unless adequate conservation measures are taken by the State Forest Department."
