Locating a resource is achieved when one item is isolated and its access point is identified.
Classroom Application
Activities & Exercises
Student is prompted to share the permanent online hyperlink or call number of an article, book, or other resource
Title of resource is given and student is asked to report on the permanent hyperlink or call number
Ask student for an accurate citation in APA of an online peer reviewed journal. A correct citation will include the DOI or URL which is also the location
Encourage the student to ask ChatGPT for a bibliography on a specific class topic and then report on the existence of each resource in the list
Provide a bibliography and ask the student to provide permanent hyperlinks or call numbers for some or all of the items in the list
