Students from these institutions may use their ID cards to borrow items from the Ray W. Howard Library.
To check out books from a local public library, you will need to sign up for an account for that library. Getting a library card is free from public libraries. They will usually request that you show them a picture ID, a piece of mail to prove your address, and a signature from you.
Many art books are published in oversize format. Our library keeps the oversize books in their own section. If you are having trouble finding an art book on the shelves, double check the location information, as it may be housed in the oversize section. Browsing the oversize books can also be a great way to serendipitously discover images and artists!
