Reasons to get an account

Benefits to having a Noodle Tools account

Each Shoreline student is eligible to sign up for their own Noodle Tools account which allows them access to all of the premium features of Noodle Tools. Here are a few reasons to take an extra minute to sign up for an account. Once you have an account, you can access the full range of features from any computer at Shoreline or from home. An account is required to use the mobile app.

Noodle Tools saves all your projects with each citation, works cited, or references list which helps you keep track of sources you used. It makes it easy to look up the source later. Having your citations organized makes it easy to use the citation later when you further your research on the topic or look up similar works by the author or in the same publication.
Create notecards, draft outlines, or even collaborate with classmates online once you've signed up for an account. These features cost money, but Shoreline pays for each student to have an account. Having tools like these can set you up for success!
Once you've got an account, you can import your work into Wordpad, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs. Using software that works so well with word-processing programs makes it easy to go from generating citations to typing out a complete and well-cited paper. Make sure you're signed into your Shoreline e-mail account and then try the links from inside your Noodle Tools project to go directly to drafting and editing in Google Docs.
