There are many opportunities to vote on elections, special elections, and primaries throughout the year, but you cannot vote unless you are registered. Registration is quick and easy!

You can register to vote in 3 ways:

1. In person - Visit  King County Elections Office in Renton, the Elections Annex in downtown Seattle, or at a Vote Center. You can also register to vote at one of our community events.

2. Online - Go to Washington State Online Voter Registration.

3. By Mail - Fill out the Washington State Voter Registration Form (download and print first!). Then mail it to your County Elections Office. Address is provided on the form. 

BEWARE OF DEADLINES!

Not sure if you're eligible? If you can check off each of the following, you can VOTE!

• A citizen of the United States
• A legal resident of Washington* state for at least 30 days prior to election day
• At least 18 years old by election day
• Not disqualified from voting due to a court order
• Not under Department of Corrections supervision for a Washington felony conviction
